TWINS on the Loop: Ottawa (IL)

We tied up on the Ottawa FREE Wall for two nights...free electricity (air conditioning) and water for our tanks after week on the water.

Very nice town...lots of activity with all the local boats and parties on the river.

Found a good party store to stock up on wine and canned beer....the wine cellar is full!

Great weather...hot and sunny.

Tomorrow is Labor Day and we will move on down the river....................

One night at Bar Island with Our Turn, our new river friends
2 nights at Grafton Marina with Hurricane Gustaf’s record rainfall
One night at Hoppies….bent our prop in the morning startup
One night in Little Diversion Canal after dodging debris in Big Muddy
One night at Cumberland Towhead …..relatively calm waters of Ohio

now....2 nights at Green Turtle Bay decompressing Start of Second Segment Anchorage by Barkley Canal having our prop pulled by Billy the Diver
